Day 97: Embracing the Grind and Future Plans

Play episode

What’s up, everyone! On day 97 of my journey to becoming a millionaire, I’ve hit a bit of a rough patch. The past few days have been a series of unfortunate events, as many of you might have noticed from my recent daily check-in videos. Yesterday was particularly challenging—I didn’t make any money since I didn’t work, only earning about $20 from YouTube. It was a red day financially, but I’m keeping my spirits up and staying focused on my goal.

Job Search and Flexibility in Work

I’m currently in a phase of transition with my job situation. I’m planning to check in with the General Manager to see what’s happening. In the meantime, I went for an interview today for another serving job. Serving has been great for me—it’s a sweet spot where I can earn good money (sometimes $150-$200) for 5-6 hours of work. This flexibility is crucial for me as it allows me to focus on my side projects and build small passive income streams. I’m not looking for a full-time job or a salary position; I need something with low responsibility and flexible hours.

Balancing Expenses and Working on Websites

Financially, I’ve been more mindful of my spending and have cut out several expenses. However, I’m facing the possibility of using the money I set aside for debt repayment if I don’t find a job soon. On the brighter side, I’m working on setting up a marketing website. I’ve realized that many small businesses need help with setting up and managing their online presence, something I’ve learned to do over the years. This could be a new avenue for me to explore and potentially earn from.

Leveraging Digital Marketing Skills

My plan is to offer a comprehensive marketing service, including website building, hosting, Google My Business setup, photography, and drone services. I’ve already set up a demo site to showcase to potential clients. My goal is to provide a ready-made solution that they can easily adopt, making it an attractive proposition for businesses that don’t yet have a strong online presence.

Content Distribution Strategy

Another strength of mine is content distribution. I’ve been able to grow my TikTok channel to nearly 5,000 followers, and my Instagram is also seeing significant growth. The key has been using software to distribute content across multiple platforms efficiently. This approach has saved me time and helped me stay focused, avoiding the distractions that come with manually posting on each platform.

Prioritizing Tasks and Future Plans

I’ve got a few things on my plate: setting up systems for my blog post guy, filming videos, editing, and looking for a job. My primary focus is to keep producing reviews and content for my YouTube channel and website. I also need to focus on finding a stable job to cover my rent and basic expenses. Once I’ve got a bit more stability, I’ll delve deeper into the marketing side of things, helping local businesses grow their online presence.

Wrapping Up and Looking Ahead

So, that’s where I am on day 97. A bit tired, a bit stretched, but still pushing forward. I’m all about finding solutions, being adaptable, and making the most of every opportunity. Let’s see what day 98 brings!
